One of the things I look for when buying a home is what businesses and schools are close by, and I’m not alone in this.  Most buyers take the local flavor into consideration when buying a home.  Since I live and work in Rio Rancho and have grew up on the westside of the river, I know this town pretty well.  I try to spend most of my dollars in local Rio Rancho and westside Albuquerque businesses.  I would like to share my knowledge of the area with you by featuring a new local business every week or two.

Whether you are familiar with Rio Rancho, NM or are looking to move to the area, I hope I can share some great places with you.  I am not a food critic or a retail specialist, but I do know good eats and good service.  I am not going to put any negative reviews here because I don’t like that but I will share my good experiences with you.  I also believe very strongly in local business and the importance to our community to have our dollars stay in the local economy.  Please visit these businesses and support Rio Rancho.
